No the songs had structure on Voire Dire, but I didn't find it interesting. For example I think SRS was much more creative in terms of song structures and concepts. For example the repetition on Red Water, that's a really interesting song structure and really digs home the point he is making.

also had a phase of being a bit lyrical rap fatigued tho and more into other genres for a while. just getting back in the groove, need to give it another listen

just revisited Voir Dire and Sick! I still find Voir Dire very underwhelming for an Earl tape ngl... like, it's rly solid, but it lacks excitement and doesn't seem to demand my full attention for every line.

Sick is still rly great, masterpiece-tier to me. hope the new album is a return to form
