don’t like the beats on this album from first listen. guess i’m not really a fan of the direction Earl has went since SRS.

i’m sure like 70% of the bars went over my head so i’ll have to relisten though

He’s really snapping on here, just listen close and with repeated listens you’ll catch the bars, it’s just very subtle

2010 beat is insane.

I liked this album allot

This album is great.

The lingering effect? Lye doesn't really start til 5 seconds in. Tabula Rasa fades out, but bleeds into the next song

In other news, 2010 sounds crazy within the context of the album.

Hmm could be an issue on my end. Tabula rasa ends and then there’s a silence for a couple seconds and then the beat comes back in for a second to fade out on Lye

How does he keep doing it.

Even Tabula Rasa grew on me.

Srs x freewave 3 had a baby and this popped out. This s*** good for the soul

the beats are a little pared down compared to his previous work, but it works imo because it’s a new wrinkle in his sound

That’s the beauty of such a short album.
