2wordsJust a few pages back I was trying to tell them smh. I hate when fans think they know better than the artist with stuff like this. Now I need him to re-confirm for the idiots that Solace is an album and not a god damn song
I’ve always considered FOC an album. Solace is a gray area kind of thing. I like that Earl has completely reframed the idea of what an album is and can be length wise. Hell, I consider This Thing of Ours by Alchemist to be my favorite album of last year and that’s only 4 songs and 10 minutes.

I’ve always considered FOC an album. Solace is a gray area kind of thing. I like that Earl has completely reframed the idea of what an album is and can be length wise. Hell, I consider This Thing of Ours by Alchemist to be my favorite album of last year and that’s only 4 songs and 10 minutes.
I just always like to go by what the artist calls it themselves. Earl said in an interview with Red Bull I believe in IDLS era that Solace was an album so I believe him.
Then there’s the Earl album, that and the other OF tumblr projects were never referred to as mixtapes they were self released albums, that was across the board in OF. His feelings obviously have changed about it so he might not wanna consider it his debut but Doris was always considered his second album at the time during the rollout, it wasn’t pushed as a debut and his original plan of Earl>Doris>Gnossos resembles Tyler’s B****** Goblin Wolf trilogy, all albums
So I firmly believe Earl, Doris, IDLS, Solace, SRS and FoC are all albums with Sick! being his 7th

The people who write the articles always have misinformation in the parts that they write, another interview recently said Doris was named after his grandmother in the opening. I haven’t read this yet but I assume when they said it was confirmed that Earl said it himself in the interview portion. Earl also called it an album in the Apple Music breakdown so yeah it’s an album
