He’s lowkey full of s*** tho because his other statement about it basically said that COVID was the reason that the optimistic album didn’t work, and he’s leaving that out here
thats what he’s saying. Given everything going on right now it would have sounded political and disingenuous to make an optimistic album

Ehhh I guess so
I didn’t see it as that. I saw it like Earl has been in a positive space past few years and wanted to reflect that with an optimistic outlook, but he realized the world around him is still in turmoil with everything going on and that kind of album of optimism just didn’t feel right. Plus the fact that sonically it must of been too similar to srs/foc. The official album statement makes a lot more sense after this interview.
You’re absolutely right,good a***ysis

Obviously it depends on the specific content of the album, but people need optimising during a distaster/pandemic/turmoil. So I disagree with Earl's general statement, but it depends on what the actual lyrics were

I mean we’re never gonna hear it so speculating on it is kinda stupid. But at least in Earl’s case, the times make the music; the music doesn’t make the times
he sounded SUUUPER sleepy on that studio snippet
I hope its not recorded like that, it deserves that 2010 energy atleast
I like how he said some songs are just live songs and that's it
If he feels like that then it's his vision
I got zero problems with that
This one sounds album material I’m hoping for it
!https://youtu.be/FmjHjX2f-bgThis one tho
Earl seems to treat his raps like how comedians work on new material for their bits. Very annoying.

Honestly I would have zero problems with it if he also released live albums properly mastered. Remastered CFG needed badly

He's referencing loose change in at least 2 songs that's not Loose Change, rly likes that phrase apparently

Im about 90 percent sure these two are gonna be on Sick! Judging from the lyrics of both and what hes said about the album so far plus the fact he always previews 2 songs from the album before it drops,i'm hoping we'll get them on the album
Album is 24 minutes
I’m grasping here but I predict track one to be Uneasy Steps. Track length makes sense and “don’t snooze I gotta couple more moves to show you” would transition to 2010 nicely.
