i think earl being a producer/rapper lends himself to a level of one-ness with the music that mach no matter how otherwordly his pen & delivery is could quite get to. but i think thats more of a personal preferential thing for me. balens cho feels more "masterful" srs is more personal soul-snatching type s***

mach arguably the best rapper of the decade to me but earl can play on that level then just switch to un-flinching deep introspection, talking to the human condition in such a like harrowing but tender way mach doesnt quite have that tool imo but hes bi-lingual which is a cheat code ... its tough
