I also feel like SRS is his happiest work yet. I don’t know where the “sad” criticisms come from. It’s a few sad lines and a sad track or two but for the most part you can tell he feels good
I don't feel like SRS is resembling happy vibes either. I'd say it sounds even more depressing than most of IDLSIDGO which i'd call moreso overly pessimistic than anything else. But that's just the way it sounds to me as someone who's been battling some of the same demons for a long time
Also the depression this is not a phase line comes to mind
I could never get into Wind in my Sails because of the original by Captain Murphy
This version tho >>>>
REAL.
looking at the cover, 6 figures on it and 6 artists posted. might just be a collab single
SRS is a classic but besides that I’ve outgrown his slums-influenced output and hope he goes in a new direction
Don't think he's outgrown that. He got so much unreleased heat in that lane still, def need that to release.
I do wonder if he'd even do a whole Alchemist album because he got so many insane beats from ppl in the scene prolly.
Lowkey need a double disc, half Alc half slums++
is there a way I can hide this thread? I want to forget about earls existence
I wish i could forget about the insane amounts of cringe i felt when reading your ktt bio

Yeah I'm not sure happy is the right word but it's definitely a much more mature, sober and... adjusted(?) look at depression. It's in some ways his most frank and honest (excluding Solace), depression is still a huge theme, but yeah.
Definitely think in that way you can see the MIKE / Ade influence very clearly (Navy too)
another project you niggas gone end up playing around whatever b****es happen to be near
