I'm digging this, especially on my 4th listen.. not gonna lie and say I don't miss Doris era Earl.. hopefully he doesn't completely abandon that style and revisits it again in the future. This is like what UU was for TPAB. 8/10.

But these aren't leftovers. These were made after SRS was done

  • is this meme rap?

Not once did I claim they were leftovers? I meant the vibe reminded me of UU because it seems like a direct continuation of SRS. Not hard to comprehend my guy.

UU never felt like a continuation. Just scraps that sounded all over. This is way more cohesive and contained imo. I can't compare

yall be saying the same cliche s*** about every Earl release

I’m not a doom fan, and this isn’t really my thing, but this and his last release are undoubtably influenced by the album. His earlier albums are more my personal vibe though

    Cool, that's your opinion. I don't agree.

Anyways, love FOC. Can't wait to see what Early Man has for us next.

What does that mean? He not only found this sound by accident but only contributed two projects while there are dozens of sLUms (and similar) projects. If you think SRS and Feet of Clay is better than every one these projects, then lmao.

Really can't talk to stans on here

MIKE literally cites Earl as his reason for starting to rap

The Madvillain comparison to this and SRS. Doris was much more of DOOM rapping. It's like people hear the chops and say that. I hear Madlib in the beats (which makes sense cuz Madlib said he would play him samples and the album almost everyday when he was making it,, but he left that style

  • I like the beats but I can't hear this nigga Earl

That’s more what I was talking about, that’s why I said madvillian instead of doom in my original post. The production and track lengths is more what I was alluding to
