This s*** gets crazier and more complex every listen. EAST is absolutely ridiculous, he is actually riding the beat in the most amazing pocket. Wtf

would love to hear Ka on EAST.

    Ok here's the thing

    This is better than srs

The engineering is just as bad as ever and ruins any of the more decent rapping that appears on this

but at LEAST the production on this isn't ENTIRELY "experimental" messy garbage obviously designed to appeal to white people who read pitchfork and watch fantano like the entirety of srs

Srs is like a 1 this is like a 2.5 because 74 is actually a decent song and easily the nicest beat Earl has rapped on since like 2016 (it's also shorter so less garbage to endure). But it becomes completely trash again after that. It's like the old earl who made music that wasn't critic bait was shining through for a minute then he was gone again. It gave me the same feeling I got when I heard Peanut for the first time before Earl ruined it with his voice except Earl didn't ruin it this time

    East is hilariously bad

Either way can't see myself hating on this one as much but it is still hot dog water do not get it twisted

At least we can agree that EAST is horrible

Listen to how confident and skilled he sounded in Odd Future and Pre-Odd Future songs. Then listen him now. Off beat and just rhyming words on weird instrumentals that I hope he didn't pay for.

ur comparing him when he was a f***ing kid doing dumb s*** to an adult who's been thru s*** and matured?

he was rapping about f***ing masturbating when he was in OF

nah it's just straight avant-garde s***. Do I enjoy it like SRS right now? Nah, but I can't wait to dissect this more. Can def see me loving this more with each listen. On my 3rd right now it's already a big grower.

Bottom line this is dense as f*** and nothing you can just judge from a listen or two

East beat is some Danny type s***.

nah i agree, i get it, he should've atleast pitched it down a lil or slow it down, s*** is just not typical at all

i guess he really wanna lose the unecessary fans, ion know what the plan is really

All I see from this is that you were most comfortable with him when he was fitting a stereotype his group created for themselves
