It’s still dumb because it discourages players from using different teams. It takes a while to master a playbook for most people.

With this new setup most players will be stuck with the same team because their only comfortable with one playbook.

I do agree that custom playbooks shouldn’t be allowed, but not being able to switch playbooks is overkill.

This will keep it distinct from madden though. Madden only takes a few days for everyone to start running the same gimmick exploits. They get patched and someone finds a new meta. This seems like it'll require a little more strategy

This game wouldn’t have the same meta issues as Madden because its almost four times as many playbooks as Madden and so many unique formations.

And some of the worst teams in CF25 have the best playbooks.

Learn to play different playbooks or if you are gonna cheese too bad you are stuck with one team.
