Is Greg Fraser the greatest living cinematographer?
can’t do living but can do best of the 20s
we are really watching a generational director right in front of our eyes. im speechless..
First off, them tweaking the ending of the book to A. Not have Chani be pregnant and B. Not have her stay by Paul's side was a surprisingly good choice and has me really curious as to how Messiah is going to play out
could it be possible that she is pregnant and it hasn't been revealed and that’s why she’s so heartbroken by Paul at the end?
or would he have just known because of his abilities

Read the blue ribbon she puts on means she’s pregnant in the book but idk if that’s true

oh s***
evil anakin on revenge of the sith was inspired by paul after drinking the worm juice right?
Bro we were so deep into the film before you even see Feyd once then you get an entire 20 min sequence dedicated to him, insane
The black and white cinematography in that sequence was so beautiful. Felt like watching a neo noir
All imma say is if Chani defeats Paul in Dune Messiah imma be pissed as f***
Isn’t one of his visions in the first movie of her stabbing him?

That’s what I’m thinking
When I first posted it I was talking more about the child who is born and dies in the first book and not the two she has in Messiah
When the harkonnen soldiers started floating up the cliff face 30 seconds in i knew I was in for something special
donder vibes
i liked the black and white part.. way too much fighting for me though
not a Villenueve guy yet.. still need to see Arrival and 2049 tho..
@beamo23
dont get me wrong the cinematography was icy

I'm glad I stayed away from trailers and promo footage, that SILENCE scream by Paul hit crazy
