there's actually an interview out there with greg (think dolby uploaded it on youtube) where he explains how they filmed it with digital and then run it thru film and then like mix the two together so they get the film grain etc but still have the flexibility of digital

Rewatched the Dune movies recently and Part Two really is better than what I remembered

The Harkonnen villains still came across as a joke though (can’t take them seriously); IDK how you can fix that except by changing the characterization significantly.
But props should be given to the filmmakers cus the atmosphere they portrayed for the Harkonnens’ homeworld was engrossing
