First listen didn’t pop like FN but I’m getting into it on my second go

I've only listened to it twice, but I saw someone compare it to Dawn FM in terms of how it was received and I think I agree.

Radical Optimism isn't "groundbreaking" like Future Nostalgia is and people will hold it against it, but it's a solid album that will grow on people, especially during the summer.

like and i've been a dua fan for a long time but this album does nothing 4 me outside of those first two released singles

don't think she brought the best out of her collaborators (kevin parker) AT all and nothing on here is as catchy as the large majority of her previous work

It's a solid album for what it is. Tho I expected something slightly different when she hinted towards it being a bit more of a personal album and 1970s psych. That may be the case on some tracks but for the most part a lot of it feels very safe/bit bland. This would've been received much better if it was her 2nd release.

Don't see any tracks really reaching the highs of levitating/don't start now/physical.

Pretty mid tbh, 1st quarter of the album is good and refreshing tho
