I think all these sudden major releases caught them off guard.

It’s now either May or early June

She’s headlining Glastonbury in late June

They def don’t hit as hard as her big hits.

Apparently there was never a set album plan in the first place. The rumors are that they wanted to shoot for mid-late April, this was around the time of Houdini releasing but apparently those plans were cancelled before Taylor even announced Tortured Poets.

It took Training Season so long to come out because the original video for it had to be scrapped, and because that took so long everything else was pushed back to obviously unspecified dates. Combine that with underperformance and I would say everything is in limbo atm.

Anytime anything underperforms or rollouts get halted I just think of scenes from The Idol where things are just spiraling

I mean, we’ll never know for sure “but no set plan” is probably an over exaggeration of the truth. When Houdini released I’m sure they had a release window in mind, they just hadn’t honed in on a specific date, they would have done that as the rollout progressed.

Scrapping the OG Training Season video is almost certainly what f***ed everything up.

That being said, I don’t have much faith in her current management team regardless.
