I think it’s a combination of things. The lack of anything innovating new or worthwhile mainstream wise in rap as a whole and it just being kinda stagnant effecting Drake’s efforts somewhat + us growing up as our taste evolves inevitably as well.

it’s mostly the hooks tbh. he’s still skilled but those were arguably his strongest suit and he doesn’t care about em anymore it seems
