Everestgo peep PND1! his first OVO release. legit is the peak of anything remotely in this genre/sub genre/production style/world imo.
i remember being 13 tapping into PND he only had 3 songs up on the OVO soundcloud before his first OVO album

I don’t think any of the songs on here are mixed “bad” just not very good. Novice engineers could easily replicate this and with Drakes money he should have top level engineering
yeah mixing not as crazy as like a mike dean draft I think it's serviceable
maybe it's because drake thinks the mix is always fine and may not be able to tell? who knows

My faves are Meet Your Padre, Spiderman Superman, and Brian Steel

not a pnd fan but it felt like his contributions weren't really needed
on some tracks it sounded like dude was recording from the bathroom or smthn, mix is off.
I liked deeper tho
beats were kinda zzzz but that's what i expected

coulda been drake's best since 2017 but he had to ruin it lol
PND1 is one of my fav albums of all time but he became super stagnant

Feb 14, 2025·1 replyFirst listen was decent. Nothing really stood out to me first time round. Gimme a hug beat switch I guess, rewinded that. I listened to this while I was working out, gonna play it later tonight maybe. I’m sure a couple tracks are gonna grow on me.
I don’t keep a roster anymore, so a lot of it was more so reminiscing of a past life for me, which can be fun. It doesn’t reflect my life now though. Me n my shorty locked in but you never know, I got wandering eyes. But I ain’t trying to be pushing 40 and single like these niggas.
