Hating on Christmas
Hmmm. Still don’t believe it coming in December even with the present emoji. He loves to troll
But lowkey everything is intentional and that’s interesting…no way he just drops on Christmas out of nowhere tho..maybe next week?
@THEHOLYGHOST you hearing anything new on this? We close?
Merry Christmas G
It's gonna basically be a Drake album featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR anyways.
You think so? Hope party has enough involvement we already don’t get very much from him as is

That’s not even how their usual collabs go. Either they work together or Party gives Drake the records.

Imagine thinking the great divine knows anything about this album

I don't need to know anything about the album to speak on how I believe it'll come about. PARTY's last album was his first in 4 years and there's barely 12 complete songs on it. I don't see Drake taking a bunch of rejects from him to make his first (and possibly only) R&B album ever. All the R&B cuts on For All the Dogs (about half of the album) were without PARTY's involvement (with Members Only being the only exception).
I said months ago that I believe Drake was hard at work on the album while PARTY was on tour and that it'd likely be a situation where PARTY would come back and write verses to fill up some already-crafted songs.
I see the project turning out similar to how Her Loss did, where it felt like 21 Savage was mostly a side character and Drake was the main attraction taking up the most run-time.
I think, left to PARTY, he doesn't drop another project for at least another 3 years but Drake really wanted to make an album with him at this moment in time and that's his big bro and probably something he too has always wanted to do and that's why we're getting the album.
All theories of course, but that's just what I think. Whether I end up being proven wrong or right, who really cares, so long as we get great music?

Agreed I think it’s gonna be another her loss situation

i don‘t think it is relevant how many songs are on P4. he is stingy when it comes to releasing music but im sure party (and drake as well) has made hundreds of finished songs over the years and they didn‘t start doing this album yesterday.
imo it‘s more likely the whole lawsuit situation put a dent into the rollout, even if the initial plan was to release it earlier.
i also don‘t believe for a second the album is drake songs that party was just gonna hop on

I don't see them putting old songs on the album. I think it'll be all new songs and I don't think the lawsuit stopped them from completing work on the album. I think the album will have both of them contributing ideas but I think it'll be more Drake-led.
Agreed I think it’s gonna be another her loss situation
The reason I disagree wit this is because 21 savage is pretty one dimensional so an rap album being Drake-led and having 21 just fill in the blanks makes way more sense compared to an r&b album with your most prominent R&b collaborator. Who is most likely going to be involved with other aspects of the album outside of just sending in vocals.
On top of that the songs they’ve released I think it’s easy to tell that it’s either they worked closely or it was a song presented to Drake from Party or vice versa since Drake has gave Party a joint or two.
I think when it comes to the whole narrative that Party is the one holding up the process is more so he is more in tune with the finishing touches. On top of him being a perfectionists. If it was a Drake album (featuring Party), then I believe there wouldn’t be much of a hold up. Then again you gotta add in Drake’s whole legal affairs into the mix also
Drakes dropping tonight. Don’t you find it strange that he’s doing a stream on a Thursday night with four well-known artists as guests. One Being PND Who he has an upcoming album with and all the $$$ teasing

You’re not wrong, usually PND sends in demos or they both collab. I just feel like post 2021 Drake is a lot more hands on widdit
