Critique: The thing that gets me aggy is like as soon as I’m getting into a moment, it either switches the beat entirely and/or party pops in to mess it up.

It’s moments all over this that have me like “dawg just build on this” that dont go nowhere most times. Great concepts and middle of the road execution (e.g. 1st half of something about you & that refrain in the middle of Greedy was vintage god hookmaker drake, i liked 1st half of celibacy and moth balls and raining in houston) now I’n realizing 40 was probably the conduit of executing ideas. If it was any other artist it would be like “eh” but learning i just have to temper my expectations with drake.

Positives: Who tf is Pim? Cause she SMOKED her song

Nokia is hella cringe but it’s also hella fun and as someone that likes that sound, I f***s with it. Die trying is heat even if yebba renegades them both in 10 seconds, dont know why drake tried to do that whole “anti-pop” gimmick when howgh is a f***ing classic. Gimme a Hug is a high point even if I think that 4 track “my beef response” run from Brian Steel to Lasers kinda throws the flow of the album off.

dont mean to come off as a hater but 4 tracks in production sounds the same on every song hearing drake whine over them im out

Music is the easiest art form to me to just listen and form your own opinion. It's probably because it doesn't really take up time. You can listen to music while doing other things.
