Drake said during stream last night, he worded it weird but he did say “40 been begging me to do a short album”
Which is weird bc he did it with HNVM lol

Cause like he said Drake is done his part. It’s 75% done because Party is a perfectionist and constantly keeps going back to songs to change things or fix things that he see’s need altering, he always has done this. That also probably means that Drake is giving Party the reigns to do what he wants with this project and take control of it. Finishing touches could have meant finishing touches on Drakes parts, or finishing touches on what they had together so far until maybe more got added or changed. Loaded in my phone might also have nothing to do with the songs being done lol. He could mean having shorties in his phone even who knows lol. And if he did happen to mean the album is loaded into his phone, then ya it probably is cause he’s done his part and wants to listen to it, or as an artist when your working on a project you’ll obviously have the songs available to you at all times for listening incase there’s something you hear that needs changing or adding, or just simply cause you want to listen to it. Patience, the album will come and it will be great

Yeah it’s just frustrating, them making us think it’s about to release. Also, we have ZERO metric for what 75% means as far as timeline goes. CLB was 90% done and then took like an extra year to finish

These guys have CTE with communicating when projects will be done. Can never trust them

I get you, but tbh I don’t think anyone was making us think it was about to release. I think they know what they’re saying to create hype, but not everything they say alludes to the end goal. It could be 90% of this song done, or 95% of the project is complete just waiting on Party to finish his part. It could be finishing touches as in mixing and mastering, which maybe party is doing himself with Noel and in the process he realized he didn’t like something. We take what they say and apply it as if that’s exactly what they are talking about, but I don’t think they’re making us think it’s about to come anymore more than we’re hyping ourselves up to think that. Better off just not expecting anything until we hear something more concrete and then can be more excited. Only things I’m personally even partly believing at all at the moment is Party saying it’s 15 songs, cause it should be around that range, and Drake saying it’s 75% done because obviously it’s not coming immediately
