Thats crazy because it’s the night before $$$4U drops and the air in Toronto is biting like a love-hate affair. The snow’s coming down, soft but heavy, blanketing the streets in this tranquil, almost too calm way. But there’s something in the air—something electric, like the anticipation of a kiss that never quite happens, but you're feeling it.

This album is about to hit like that first cold breeze on your neck when you're walking through the city—sharp, but making you feel alive. The streets are quiet, but ground level? You can almost feel the tension bubbling up from below, something deep underfoot. It’s like the city itself knows what’s coming.

I view an album as being better or worse than others not only as a singular listening experience but how many songs I really love off that album

Scorpion is an overlong album to some, but he has a really good ratio of slaps to duds on there to me

If I had to delete any album of Drake's, HNVM to me gets the boot because I wanna hear bars from Drake, or at least great lyrics. the writing is lacking fr. the mood and production doesn't carry the album enough for me to ignore that. Peak songs like Overdrive, Sticky, Liability, and Flight's Booked aren't enough to push it over Scorpion because the rest of the boring tracks drag it down to me.

I think people saying HNVM is a classic don't understand how much better I feel like that album could've been if he really locked in and took a year plus to develop the ideas on there

Yall know that feeling right before a nut? Like the 10 seconds leading up to it? I been feeling like that all day. Floating and s***. I haven't slept since the cover reveal but the few times I've almost started to doze off I thought my ex was riding me for a second. People love to call Drake soft or sensitive but this freestyle further proves that Drake is the demonic, goon employing thug, that Tupac and Biggie were thought to be. If the ominous drill beat didn't spell it out, Drake is one of the realest threats in the rap game and can get anyone killed if he wishes. Kanye said it himself about Drake in 2018, "He running around like he pac", that's because Drake is the new modern day Pac. He's really running around with a strap on his hip, has killer goons on command, is affiliated with the mafia, and has bodyguards that look like they eat nails in a bowl of blood. He had Kanye fearing for his dear life and kids lives in 2018 when the beef was popping. Drake really is the demon of Calabasas and Hollywood. We're looking at a real life Godfather Michael Corleone type figure, a gang affiliated Michael Jackson tier pop-star but on a much grander scale than MJ ever was. There's so many stories of Drake's getting rude yutes clapped up or performing mob boss gestures like throat slices, clapping his hands, etc. Drake dines at mafia style restaurants like The Nice Guy/Delilah in Hollywod. And he has enough power to bully superstar celebrities like Tory and Kanye around and make them think twice about their actions. This ninja Don Corleone runs every corner and inch of Canada and claimed it as his own. For the first time in forever we're looking at an invincible GOAT who really lives the stories.
