Can't think of a better time of year for a Party x Drake tape to drop as well.

But have to take everything OVO folks say with a pinch of salt until the album on streaming lol

they prob been in the final stages for some time now.

they never confirmed october or anything but to me the release could be a lot sooner than we think:

party has been talking about this project since summer and i imagine when they were on stage together in toronto they already had either a few tracks ready or maybe even some kind of skeleton project with some structure. we got actual snippets as well

fwiw i do not expect a big rollout or a large promo campaign. i think they'll do the usual cover-tracklist-single/album beat and that's that

i really like p4 (way more than p3) so this album should have some serious slappers going by the current trajectory

Between Drake's comment on Party's IG post + now Noel's comments last night on Fry Yiy...I think this last week was the week they put the tracklist together and finalized what songs are on the album.

After watching a 100 Gigs for Her Loss...its clear that Noel's longest and most involved hours are during the final stages of mixing and mastering (there's a video of Drake listening to HL mixes and calling Noel in real time to fix things). We are probably at a similar stage for this album.

Not sure how much promo they are going to make/shoot for the roll out but I think the album (just music wise) could defo be done for a 10/25 release. Would be the PERFECT day for the first ever OVO collab project.

I'd love an October release as well. My guess that it drops in November is based on what Noel said. Seems like he was just heading into mixing/arranging the album properly now and that will take a good while. I also don't see Drake dropping the album while Party is still on tour. Party's tour ends November 6, my guess is it drops November 15.

Gotta add that it's been great seeing all of Party's success this year and he did it all by being himself and doing things his way. Took 4 years off from his last album, dropped an album with zero features and it's on pace to being his most successful yet. His current tour is also his biggest and most successful yet. Going from that to a full album with Drake will do wonders for his career. I just hope he doesn't dip for another 4 years after that.

Yeah...this is probably accurate. I want to be delusional and think 10/25 but you making sense.

I'd even take a single + album announcement on 10/25 though, OVO drops in October hit different.

Yeah, I initially had October down as when it'd drop as well but the Noel clip seemed like he was just gearing up to lock in on mixing the album and he's gonna need at least 2-3 weeks for that. My guess is the album should be ready for an October 31 release but they'll probably hold off till November 15 because of the US Presidential election on November 5 and how much attention that will take. Also, the prospect of dropping another classic album on Take Care's 13th anniversary >>>

He’s addicted to making music.

Even if he did take a year or years off he Would still record multiple albums that just wouldn’t be released to the public.

Even with him releasing music there still be albums worth of ovo crew exclusives that never come out unless they leak so imagine if he didn’t release it would be even more snippets and tracks.
