ahh idk if Deeper is necessarily a short song.
I'm not disagreeing that it's Drake centric, I'm just disagreeing with it being primarily solo vibes. Maybe it's because I don't revisit the solo Drake songs that much but I personally felt satisfied with it being seen as a collab album.. Final like 7 songs they're both comfortably on (not to say Drake might not have longer parts)
Deeper went by quickly for me, maybe i just didn’t pay attention to it enough idk
Die Trying is nice
another great example of this being a Drake album though, PND feels like he’s just there to add a little flavor to the song rather than it being his song too

you technically right it's only like 3 minutes, chrous verse chorus
it's actually longer than small town fame/brian steel and only like 20/30 seconds shorter than crying in chanel/gimmie a hug. I'd put em all around same length in my head
Somebody Loves Me starting off strong

agreed entirely on this tbf
Somebody Loves Me starting off strong
one of the better songs on the album
Celibacy sounds nice but the lyrics are so 🤮 i can’t get past that
PND killed Drake on Celibacy
do renegades exist in R&B?
one of the better songs on the album
3rd biggest streaming wise - they trying to push it a little more with that Cash Cobain remix too. Funnily enough it's the reverse of the trend you've felt with the album, pretty PND-centric, with the Drake verse in the middle being the "feature".

yea i thought PND shined more on there than the entire rest of the album so far
Drake is crazy for making Nokia after dropping iLoveMakonnen for being on this exact wave a decade ago
Ur just saying anything
there’s no chance this is what y’all have been hyping up for months right?? i get why y’all rallied behind this, as it’s the closest thing to a “hit” on paper, but none of the elements of this song mesh together. this is not an enjoyable experience. i’d probably take a water break and leave the dance floor if i heard this at the club.
Sab, can you ever be objective with Drake?
Sab:
i like the song progression on OMW, Drake came in at the perfect time with that build up

i’d been purposefully avoiding it when it came on shuffle because i wanted to hear it within the context of the album first
I'm interested to see your Glorious reaction
it’s so hard, it’s for the streets, it’s for the baddies
Drake is a dumbass for not getting Ice Spice on this

for a verse*

first listen I remember being shocked Drake jumped into an Ice Spice bag. Effortlessly emulates it ffs

surprised he went more for Ice Spice than Central Cee
edit:
he went Central Cee on verse 2 nvm
okay he’s sliding
i don’t like when PND sounds like other artists. on Glorious, it was Future
