This is the most unprofessional s*** I've ever read

"it’s easy to draw parallels between Drake's damaged reputation and the cold, harsh environment that he finds himself engulfed in on the cover for $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. Despite the hostile conditions, he finds himself standing tall next to frequent collaborator and the album’s co-billed artist, PARTYNEXTDOOR, in an imposing manner, as if to acknowledge that while he may not have a warm reception by the culture at present, he can weather the storm with the riches he has amassed and the support of his confidants. When viewed up close, it actually works as a pretty striking image that is at least a massive improvement from the pregnant emojis and children’s drawings that have adorned his recent outings. If you zoom out, however, and view the cover from a little further away, another visual message can be interpreted:

    He’s sucking his d***.

It looks like PARTYNEXTDOOR is sucking Drake’s d***.

    I can’t unsee it."

After a solid 15 listens to the album the only songs I didn’t end up favoriting from the album were CN Tower and Crying in Chanel, I felt both songs had a dull intro and only were good on the second half of each song.
Best R&B Tracks were Deeper, Greedy, Raining in Houston, When He’s Gone…in that order
Most replayed on my list: Die Trying, Meet your Padre, Nokia, Greedy, Spider-Man Superman, Gimme a Hug, Moth Balls…in that order
Overall no skips on the album. Glad Party is finally getting the shine he deserves. I also don’t understand why people are saying Post Malone or another big name should’ve done the chorus to die trying as if Party didn’t carry that whole song. After this performance I hope he finally stops giving these amazing tracks away

Relisten 2 crying, da beat is like that on purpose, the beat switch 2nd part should have been scrapped, is actually the bad part.
It’s a innovative rnb beat/song, fresh sounding 4 right now.

idk if im tripping but i swear crying in chanel mix is changed, the first part the beat isnt as over bearing anymore like its taking a backseat where as before it sounded like it was infront of his vocals, sounds way better or maybe its cus im on my 20th listen and i just got used to it

Now that I’ve had some time to actually digest the entire album I think his rearrange and change a few things to make it a perfect album for me.

For me I feel like if Gimme a hug was the intro it would’ve been perfect. He literally starts off by talking directly about everything that happened. Beat switch and then diss J Bud and then final beat switch go back into his vibes (strippers etc). Thats who he is now as a person and this first track embraces that the most. Following on from strippers crying in Chanel is the most straight forward continuation of that theme.
From this I’ve done it as what I believe follows the most similar vibes. The end of Crying in Chanel should’ve been way longer. Similarly I think the second half of Something about you can also be cut down. Small town fame next. What a banger of a track. I wish the first verse was extended that flow (reminds me of Florida with Love) elite Drizzy! When he’s gone next. Decent track ( second verse is better imo). Which is why Deeper is next following on from Party’s vocals. Following that is Lasers. Again the Party vocals and specially the ending (Beyoncé lyrics) which then goes into Spider-Man Superman ( imo one of the best songs of the album). Ending of this is The Real Her sample (lyrics about Houston girls). No brainer what’s next. Raining in Houston. Brian Steele next for me. Pimmies Dilemma next as the interlude. Which is Pimmie telling the Guys not to go out and responding to Drake in Brian Steele. Nokia next (absolute banger). Moth balls next purely due to the Nokia ringtone in the beginning. Good connection between the two. Die trying next purely due to Motown (country music flavour). That ending from Yebba is beautiful. Meet your Padre next ( song is getting too much unnecessary hate). Glorious to showcase his UK Drill skills. This run is purely to showcase how versatile Drake is. Celibacy next can easily remove the second verse of Party. Side note this reminds me a lot of Neatly (leak). CN Tower next and then finally Greedy which is an amazing outro. Id personally remove OMW. Maybe a few weeks later this will be different as is the case with all Drake albums.

Overall I’d rate this project a solid 8/10

    4 great songs

    2 okay songs

If you heard a pnd album then you heard this before.

Pretty much if you like pnd this is for you. if not, listen to pimmies dilemma, gimme a hug, die trying, Nokia, and skip the rest.

If you throw out FATD then Drake is quietly on a run of focused cohesive projects the last few years

    Honestly Nevermind

Yup. And I think of FATD as more of a mixtape cause of how he put it together while touring for 4 months lol
