I say Jack is cool that has the potential to be a good pop/rap rapper. That’s where the Drake comparisons came from. He’s better off being an artist that doesn’t take himself too seriously.

This is clearly meant to be a deeper cut on his album. His debut had a couple songs like this too but if you heard the rest of the album you can clearly hear he’s not trying to earn the lyricist of the year award

But deeper cuts are where you show off your lyrical skills though

Trippie Redd has bar heavy deep cuts on some of his albums but he’s definitely not trying to be respected as a straight rapper like Drake was early in his career.

Harlow is simply just tryna make the most accessible / palatable pop rap right now and he’s succeeding.

Drake was trying to be compared to the Wayne’s and the Jays and the Ems at the time, Jack is not trying to be in that type of conversation. You can tell if you’ve heard his debut or any of his earlier tapes/EPs.
