kept this rhyme scheme every line for the entire time while still telling a linear story and transitioning seamlessly between subjects. that is hard to execute. none of it feels forced and it still comes across as a conversation
the pen is ridiculous

When did it become a thing to praise being less versatile on a track

I’d be a member of the audience and yall would hate on the criticism either way

The anti-Draker playbook
Having the same rhyme scheme on a song is now a flex
yes it actually is when its multi syllable layered like that
its a lot easier to switch up the scheme whenever you want to change the subject, give yourself more possible rhymes. forcing yourself into that scheme for 48 and having it make sense isnt easy at all lol
I actually don't care about the Snoop bar. The edibles part is just funny
The Super Bowl bar has always come across a little whiny to me but I understood it as a frame for a broader statement on being proud of your own accomplishments and not needing validation from other people
he has every right to feel a way about people taking his moment and turnning it into a pity party for lil wayne imo and acting like he don't deserve it
drake is literally crying about anyone who was at the pop out not just lebron, ok he feels a way about lebron even though he was showing him love during the battle also but he was literally dissing steve lacy and stopping artists who were on that stage from performing in toronto

Narcissistic to think everyone should give him props tho
Wayne is more influential than Kendrick will ever be — paying homage to him at the SB in 2025 in NO would have been special
Instead we get the industry darling who was on the same stage 2 years ago

The Super Bowl Halftime Show has never been a Homecoming event, nor was it ever promised nor implied to Wayne that he would get it. The tantrum was unwarranted and immature
I’d be a member of the audience and yall would hate on the criticism either way
Ad hominem attacking yourself to goalpost shift from not showing your witting prowess is quite the avoidance tactic

It's all whiny, but validated through their own feelings. They both had adverse situations happen to them, internalized it and dealt with the ramifications of their emotional state
To invalidate either is showing weakness to ones own inherit humanity, and not only immaturity but also fear. They're 2 sides of the same coin

Drake is a snake in a snake pit but for whatever reason he acts like a victim who deserves special treatment. Idk man, hang around people you call fakes for your whole adult life and engage in fake behavior and some of them might switch up on you when it's convenient.
It's not even an invalid song topic, it just doesn't sound right coming from Drake in 2025.
