Personally Donda is a better listen off my first full listens of both, the best Ye has sounded in a decade on some songs. CLB has some great songs but has fallen into so many of the Drake-isms of his later career that it just feels like more of the same. CLB is that comfort food that isn’t incredible, you know what you are gonna get, it’s good but not great. Ye is that dish where the main plate is f***ing great but the sides are completely forgettable and shouldn’t have even been there.
