    I think CLB is a solid Drake album that is only bogged down by tracks that just shouldn't be there. But the highs are real nice. Race My Mind, Fair Trade, N 2 Deep, Champagne Poetry. Great Drake songs.

    I can't deny tho that Way 2 Sexy is the worst Drake hit he's come up with. The video's great but the song feels forced as f***. Maybe it'll grow on me.

    Race My Mind is just f***ing amazing. I know I'm gonna be playing this song all day every day for the next week.

    drake has never been known for wordplay, especially not like nas, jay or kdot, nor does he rap about anything of substance outside being vulnerable

    we've already covered he's purely a mainstream rapper, you don't need to bolster my point he does it for the money and popularity. that's my point. that's literally why ppl called him pop years ago.

    he makes music for whoever ear will generate money, instead of some with a purpose, message or to experiment. drake is known to play it safe, that's why i think the album is boring and like only 10 max songs are good.

    my disappointment meter is full.

    Only f***ed with 6.5/21 tracks on CLB on first listen.

    Ima run it back a couple more times this weekend and hope i enjoy it more.

    But right now CLB is somehow worse than Scorpion for me.

    That's cool. It's cool to be different, but "different" is off-putting to a lot of people. I wouldn't blame Kanye if he wanted to make more accessible music, but Yeezus fans would express their issues. You can never win
