I mean you’re correct but then if we go by just numbers we all of a sudden have to say fast and furious movies are artistically some of the best cinematic movies ever made. There’s room for nuance and having critical thinking. Not saying drake is a slouch but the past few albums I don’t feel like he’s saying much or pushing towards new ground. Not that he has to, what he does works for him.

Ye made my beautiful dark twisted fantasy at drakes age, while drake is droppin songs like "too sexy" with the same featured artists he's had for the last 3-4 albums

It’s funny how people outside Canada are like oh let’s check out the Drake album, pretty good, love the memes etc, when we will never know how many people he’s killed, how many lives he’s destroyed with his iron grip on Toronto’s underworld, how many people he’s silenced.

Drake been the man since 09 bruh. He's been running s*** every year. That's hard to do. Plus, Kanye has 100 niggas in the studio helping him come up with these sounds. It's cool, but that's never the route Drake's going

He might be in autopilot a little. I think it's mainly because there's no one here to really challenge him. The hottest in the game don't really compare to him (Lil Baby, Travis, etc.). His biggest competition is probably Kendrick, but he doesn't drop enough to really dethrone him. Kanye is forever cemented, and it'll forever be a moment whenever he drops. His s*** doesn't nearly hit the same though

Maybe Drake should consider taking a more collaborative approach considering his current approach has run its course quality wise.

Drake 100% needs to switch something up if this is the best he's coming up with.

I hate having to dig through 12-15 tracks of rich man problems, I came from nothing (Degrassi is nothing), those boys switched sides man, these girls aren't loyal, stripper love songs that verge into being very f***ing weird very quickly, etc. over very well produced but very one-note instrumentals with the occasional sample flex to find the 3-5 good tracks of which maybe 1 or 2 are good because of Drake and not a feature and the 1 or 2 obligatory whitewashed dancehall song that also only works because of the feature.

This has been his formula for half a decade and obviously it plays well with the mainstream, but he's capable of so much more and we all know it.

Weeknd contributed to 3 or 4 songs on TC. Weeknd even said that Drake influenced him, so whatever to that. More Life, DLDT were both solid to me. Views and Scorpion had a mixed bag, but had some extreme highs. You really lost out here...boy

the best song on clb is better than the best song on donda, and a lot of these songs actually grow on you. people who hate on drake won't convert because of this album, but its still better than donda imo.
