It’s literally offensive to compare Drake to Ye at this point. Like Drake is so far beneath him artistically its sad.
I'm finishing Pipe Down now and there's 3 songs that have stuck with me out of 10, which... honestly, I'm hoping this picks up in the second half.
It's not terrible, the production is clean and a lot of Drake's bars are good, but holy s*** is it boring. Every feature so far either phoned it in or just completely highjacked the song (Travis, Future, Giveon in particular) and there hasn't been a single song that made me think "wow, Drake really delivered on that one."
I'm not sure what I expected, but I was really hoping for something other than Scorpion 2 or Views 3. As weird as the title is it gave me hope that he was going to break out of his comfort zone a bit more, but so far that's where the majority of this has sat pretty firmly.
Sucks that outside of this thread genuinely voicing my disappointment will probably be dismissed as Ye stannery because of this dumbass "beef" that I'm still not convinced isn't fabricated.
I was joking lol I know it isn’t gonna happen but just sucks that it never did when the time was right and their sounds weren’t too far apart I guess you could say?
Realistically should’ve happened 2011-2012 but ay

Art is subjective. Can't dispute the numbers though
real 🙌🏽👏🏿
Kanye's discography is like missionary, getting bad head, eating ass and getting your face farted in, getting rode, and etc. It's a mixed bag. Some good and some bad

We back to the numbers argument
Imma reiterate, NOTHING on CLB touches Come to Life.

No cap I wonder what the argument would be if Ye either outsold or matches the numbers lol

Ye could do a billion in streams and I wouldn't care. Do I care what other people are listening to or what is good music
I wished the album sounded like the vibe and feel the trailer gave off.
!https://youtu.be/_MYd4tcB4GwIn short. That trailer should have never been released
