We’re so used to Kanye being off the deep end, people want him to make something focused and borderline boring to show that he’s still “got it” and isn’t “crazy”, rather than an artsy unhinged project. On the other hand we’re so used to Drake making BORING background music we want him to come with something artsy and new for him.
Exactly, last Kanye conventional album was either MBDTF (but there are many posse cuts) or Graduation (808s album now would be great too in terms that it's almost solo Kanye).
