freddie gibbs verse is great. I dont go to every single song Ye is on thinking "I need him to be the star player and have the best verse" nor have I ever

I cant name a single artist who has had a 20 year career or more consistently good music the entire career no misses and doing this much artistically. Again I am making clear yes some of it was misses but again still putting out art and expressing was better than no art most of the time

there has been no artist that has took a long break of 4-10 years that has come back with great music , games, tv shows or any medium
they have to create something to keep their brain active and express . Whether they drop it or not they often create.
the idea of "I dont like it so dont drop" when you hate some of the music but for someoone what you call trash made them cry or they played in church or they went to sunday service
the world of any artist doesnt revolve around just what you want from them and too often I feel this forum thinks it does

I don't think its an amazing song or anything but it checks the box of being a song that anybody can listen to and think about their own life through the lens of that song like I was saying and when I did that it made me cry lol

He’s been playing this same “character” vaguely since Yeezus and lowkey a lot of the same sonics just more dumbed down to the late 2010’s trends
All of his albums after Yeezus aside from Ye (violent crimes and ghost town are some of his best sonics) and JIK kinda rehash the MBDTF + Yeezus sonics (but add trap drums) and ethos of crazy rich nigga too powerful to be told what to do who can play expensive DJ khaled
As opposed to a truly new perspective/sound/take which is what made CD to MBDTF so good. I know thats Easier said than done for someone who probably had the life he did post adidas deal
The worst parts of Vulture and what made BULLY kinda eh is that he’s just regurgitating 2010’s Ye ethos without the same spirit, energy or attempts at saying anything new
Agreed with this but I’d say Donda was an outlier. Lots of cool decisions like having organs be the main focus. I also think Moon is unlike MBDTF/Yeezus and sounds dope asl
