imagine being able to spit a perfect verse in the exact flows of two legends like pac and snoop . All to really get under kendricks skin and into his head .

This is wild rap moment I feel like how people say pusha t exposed drakes character with TSOA I kinda feel like that's what drak did here that's just my two cents on the beef so far

  • Regardless this is a 10/10 song and it was perfectly executed 👌🏽

This finna be a thing and Im all for it

I hope when Midrick walk down the street or just out in public... someone randomly screams "Kendrick we need ya" out of nowhere

Just like how people used to troll Ja Rule with "GGG-UNIT"

  • patientpapi3000

"Nephew, what the f*** you really bout to do?"

Nahh he already acknowledged that now they have to wait another week. He'll let the silence draw out and make Kendrick look goofy

this sucks but tbh.. this is also good ammo for cole

he has the choice to keep his head down or to f*** these guys up, and he has the skill to do that if he really feels like it

The Midrick silence is just curious at this point.

If he wanted this beef, if he was prepared and knowing the likely repercussions his verse would have... that he wasnt just gonna be sitting there waiting to respond as soon as Drake did or said something to him. He cant be misjudging the situation that bad or is he just that stone cold? Want the tension to build up?

Does Midrick has skeletons in his closet that he doesnt want out there? Is that the reason he is hesitent?

But why engage from the beginning, if that would be the case.

Was the Like That verse just some theatricals and start of a roll out? He didnt think Drake was gonna do all this?

I cant piece it together atm.

Who knows, he will probably respond by tomorrow or Tuesday and we will now more. However, it is hard to see what the strategy is for him. Everybody is indeed just waiting.

  • Wait this nigga just wrote for a ghost this nigga iss the goat even the title of the song "Taylor Made" plays in to the concept that basically Kendrick is a puppet and doesn't control his career the label and right now Taylor Swift in my mind this solidifies him as maybe the greatest cerebral rapper ever due to how how moves in this s***

  • I’ve had this track on replay since it dropped. The replay value is definitely there.

    He’s the industry’s pet, can’t f*** around like Drake.
This is immediately given as “Kendrick we need ya, the West Coast savior”

I hope Cole responds to Kanye’s disrespect. I truly love Metro, he’s been through a lot since his mom passed and he’s been grinding non stop since then. But this rollout is making him seem like a clout chaser. I hope Cole throws shots at him too. Ye and Metro should be in his scope.

I think he's scared he underestimated just how better of a rapper drake is and he's paying for it cause drakes was never going to back down. He's been preparing for this for at least 6 or 7 years in my opinion of course I could be wrong. But right now it feels like Kendrick either really is coupled up in his apartment struggling to come up with something, the label won't let him drop that could be a real possibility they probably see drake and these two tracks he dropped as him being unhinged and don't wanna engage 🤷🏾🤷🏾 idk I'm just spouting hypothetical HIS silence is waaay different from Drakes silence a couple weeks ago

Kendrick’s silence is only different cause he’s not on Ig posting all day, we don’t know his mindset and will find out with his track

honestly that might be it: he legit did not expect drake to do anything substantial and was caught with his pants down.

it looks like kendrick tried to repeat his Control playbook and blur all that hype into an album rollout and drake dropping an actual disstrack was something he did not see coming; like i bet they thought "we can diss him because all he does is throwing passive-aggressive subs 🤷‍♂️"

Just looking back at his career... was Midrick ever truly tested?

He dropped arguably a classic in GKMC. Should have won a Grammy for it. Got a lot of sympathy and so on. Then the Control verse.

It is like everyone agreed... dont mess with the guy.

Then TPAB and all that conscious s***.

    Damn. for the mainstream.

Midrick raps fast, all these voices... it is like he has build this persona in the music... while being really private and mysterious outside of it. Everyone seemed to have bought into that and had huge respect for him as a rapper. Maybe too much.

Him not being or hanging much with other rappers, they never seeing him being around much... they just not knowing anything. Why would they try him or poke the bear? "He different".

Like the boogeyman stuff. It is like someone always warning you about a person or something, out of their own fear, but when you see for yourself it isnt really that bad. Just old wives tales.

If Abel knew about the leaks - is there a chance he might’ve told kenny?

He’s never been 1v1 beef tested, so this might be his demise (unless he drops, I’ll keep the winners position opened)
