I just don’t think the whole “took too much time” stuff will matter if Kendrick actually writes a good diss back. Fair or unfair it’s like the “narrative” around them as artists is that Drake churns out a bunch of cookie cutter pop music nonsense without much substance whereas Kendrick takes his time to make “real music”. So if Kendrick drops a fire diss in 2 months while is Drake coming out with 2 (or more if he keeps going) diss tracks where he’s kind of just said youre short and not as rich as me, then that’s kind of just going to play into that narrative.
