    He's spoken about how close Drake and him became in 2009 when he got traded to Toronto and how that year marked the beginning of their respective careers.

    He's also spoken about how when his father passed away, Coach Popovich was there for him and how Drake reached out to him to offer support at that time.

    All of that and he still switched up and did some f*** s*** but Drake isn't right to be upset because Drake is an unfeeling robot and not a human being lol.

    Use your damn brain if they were that ‘close’ even recently he wouldn’t have touched this beef lmao

    And in another interview:

    Him and Drake were very close. They remained close even after he got traded from the Toronto Raptors (something DeMar himself admitted).

    The issue is DeMar thought appearing in the Not Like Us video and dancing to the song at the Pop Out didn't mean anything and that Drake wouldn't take any offense to that.

    LeBron and Drake have been close friends since 2007 and have even gone into business together and LeBron basically did the same thing DeMar did and Drake took an issue with that as well.

    I’m saying if you’re truly close to someone their problems are your problems, pretty much, people ask too much of industry friendships tbh, though with bron I never faulted him for feeling a way since that seemed like a pretty layered friendship

    It's clear they didn't have any issues because DeMar was still referring to him as his guy after appearing at the pop out and in the NLU video. He legit thought it wasn't a big deal.
