He's saying they tarnished his image to make contract negotiations more favorable for them.

Popularity wise Drake is still the most streamed rapper of 2024, still holds all his business deals, still ambassador of all his brands and so on and so forth.

But even if he wasn't, that's chump change compared to losing out on another 500m contract on the bottom end.

Begging kendrick to drop for weeks. Calling kendrick a wife beater. S***ting on his idols, calling his wife a hoe who had a baby with his best friend, after a song as tame as euphoria. Where the worst thing kendrick said on there was that he was a deadbeat dad.

I guess thats good fun to drake stans.

This is part of why i cant have empathy for drake right now. Its his fans that propped that behavior up and made drake think it was a viable strategy, now look at him.
