As someone who deals with marketing. That does not make sense. They already put that money aside to market him. It’s already calculated. They pay him that crazy amount because they make profit. There would be no legitimate bases for mot wanting to pay him. If it’s 2024 they’re already calculated 2026. In fact surprise releases like these songs are most likely not taken in consideration for yearly revenue. The song revenue is a bonus for him and them.
