Pain is being a Drake stan and knowing you'll never be as obsessed with him as Kendrick fans are

both sides pale in comparison to the Ye stans

    Drake isn’t exposing anybody.

This is all about money that HE lost. This ain’t even a defamation suit.

Drake don’t care about other artist. This ain’t no crusade.

No lie though, if Drake can prove any of his claims somehow, Kendrick will look like the biggest lame/pawn in rap history. Perpetuating beef specifically for your label, I hope it doesn't turn out that way for Kenny

Kendrick isnt the one being sued dawg

isn’t drake the most profitable artist at UMG?

why would UMG sabotage their cash cow to help Kendrick

So they can avoid paying him that crazy contract, while also making profit off NLU(at a fraction of what it cost to promote Drakes music)

The argument here will be that drake was renegotiating his deal with them and they tried to lowball/devalue him with the likes of NLU.

In order to review footage of a crime, there has to be at least some kind of substantial indication that a crime was committed. There is absolutely no evidence cited. And this is one of the biggest and richest, most well-connected artists in the world. You’re telling me the best he could get to substantiate his case is an AK YouTube video? Bro, be serious.

Without strong and groundbreaking evidence this could hard but surely Drake’s legal council would know that too? Maybe this is rooted from the employees who were apparently fired for being loyal to Drake? I would assume all payments for bots were made in cash or categorized under PR, so how could Drake prove it was for bots?

This is either going to be a major case or nothing at all… Also UMG could potentially sue Kendrick too and make it extra messy.

i hope they will be obligated to disclose that information

I asked around and apparently when people buy bots for sneakers they have a separate database but how would Drake prove which database was used? Like theoretically anyone can buy bots, I was thinking of buying some too for reselling some Nike’s during the pandemic

this isn't a crime, this is civil procedure. he needs to plead enough facts to establish plausibility. They are citing evidence to substantiate the claims made in the complaint. It's also a preservation request for evidence still within UMG. That's SOP for civil filings
