billboard has a points system to determine song rankings. people have tried to guess what their formula is between radio play, streams, sales, etc., and one of the predictions a couple posts up estimates these as potential final points:

yeah a music video same day the song was released I would assume guarantees #1 by a large margin. I don't think they expected the song to do as well since the visualizer was just posted
