But KTT idiots will tell you his music doesn't last or no one will be listening him years from now. Oh and More Life is currently at 242 weeks (it'll surpass 300 weeks next year) and Scorpion will surpass 200 weeks by May, extending his record.

This has to be the response whenever anyone says his music doesn't last.

Do you know why drakes monthly listener number isn’t THAT HIGH and his songs don’t chart that long or high on the global top 50 songs chart but he still statically is coming out at #2 or #1 for Spotify statistics. Like something isn’t adding up.

Spotify monthly listeners is a scam. It isn't a reflection of how many streams an artist is pulling daily.

If i have 1 listener that listens 100 times and you have 10 listeners that listen one time each,

You have more listeners (10 vs 1)
But i have more streams (100 vs 10)

I guess that makes sense, I'm just surprised that the number of people that actually listen to Drake is still less than other artists. But I guess those that do, really love his music.

its mostly due to play-listing. most artists with larger audience impressions stem from a song or two being in a platforms largest playlists

Drake back catalog does insane numbers till this day and CLB still doing about 30k a week so this not too surprising
Wonder if drake is content with letting cash money/universal hold the rights to his back catalog masters since he got out of his deal and still dropped a massive project

This website should update their list because back in September Drake's second billboard run ended when Betrayed fell off the hot 100 bringing him up to a grand total of 188 weeks since God's Plan. That puts him at #1 and #5 on this list, the only artist to appear twice
