He wants to be in Drake's spot, doing the big numbers only he isn't consistent and doesn't mind if rap is dead between his releases. Notice how even off album cycles Drake was always generous with his features and giving out hits. Kendrick is selfish and Drake is giving just pay attention to their character and who gave everything to the game with no grammys or critic scores in return

This beef really showed me how hard it is to please hip-hop fans. It might be the end of Hip-hop being the dominant genre but I think hip-hop fans did it to themselves.

I think people hate way too hard on people actually trying to chase their dreams. Go under any of the XXL Cyphers and you'll see comments of people calling them trash.

With online reviewers and everyone having to share their opinions I think people are afraid to enjoy what they like. They just like or hate what everyone else does. I think with hip-hop and any art form there's going to be risks and times when it doesn't work but that's what pushes the genre forward. The people who try new things.

But if new artists keep getting clowned because the loudest get heard then there's nothing to push the genre forward.
