I don't think this implies he's a sellout. Besides his closest friends, people are allowed to be neutral.

He's a sellout in general imo (just like Snoop)
He has nothing to gain from "keeping it hiphop" or whatever
He makes money by doing commercials, movies and through other business ventures. Watering down and maintaining a semblance of his brand is the only thing he's gotta do.

See that’s where the disconnect is you calling him a sellout when he has done a lot for hip hop learn your history before tossing that word around the goal as an mc/rapper/artist is to make it and when you do make it have an impact and give back which cube has done over and over you can’t hate a man for establishing his brand further that’s what music/rap allows you to do and you talking about someone who was in there from the start of journey of the west getting to where it is now

They can do whatever they want. My initial point was that their opinions don't hold a lot of weight anymore, because they're just industry people now, trying to maintain every connection they have.
