YazzyOk nvm throat anxiety isn’t completely gone I thought it did but I figured out the source of it. It’s my OCD which causes me stress and anxiety turning them into physical symptoms like throat sensation and acid reflux type s***. Yeah expose therapy did help me and minimize it by a lot but ocd is the main problem. I got this

Jul 22, 2024rda07005People who care about rap music care about it. It's a huge sin in rap music for a true MC to get basically entire verses from others. If you don't care about it, it's fine. But it will never be accepted in rap music for people who are trying to be lyrical.
If Cole, Kendrick, Nas, Jay, and a plethora other rappers who are considered lyrical had reference tracks leak, this wouldn't matter? This is the category that Drake puts himself in. This is the category he has shown he wants to be in. Those are his peers or people he looked up to, for example.
Now if he considers himself a pop act or a musician rather than a MC/rapper, sure then it wouldn't matter.
If you think Drake is in the caliber of Kanye in terms of lyricism, then maybe I think higher of Drake's writing ability than you people who stan him.
Kanye is also openly talking about how others write for him and how he wants others to write for him. Drake on the other hand always dismisses it or always purposely diminishes how much people gave him. But then the reference tracks leak and you see he's taking entire verses and changing up a word here and there.
You have no idea how the production of the reference track even leaked. Drake himself and others have said they’ll do reference tracks simply for flows and rhythm. You do not and will never know who contributed how much to any song Drake or any other artist has ever made. It doesn’t bother me because I know everyone else and it doesn’t matter. I trust him to properly credit and recognize anyone who has he’s worked with which he’s always done. Hope the ghost don’t keep you up at night

Nah I know I got this but pin pointing the cause was hard and I didn’t think having ocd caused me stress and anxiety. I thought it was just those things you go thru life dealing with until you fix it. It gotten worst and worst over the years to the point that it started to show physically. Although I figured out the physical therapy helped I didn’t know the actual problem was. I didn’t know stress and anxiety caused by ocd can affect you physically
. Yeah it’s igjt tho I’m confident I can beat this s***. Already stopped my weed and vape addiction, this will at most take me no more than 2 weeks
