True her release schedule wasn't going to forever stop, but he could still gage a pulse on the responses and the fact a DRAKE feature wasn't doing its normal impact, agree/disagree? Maybe I should've positioned my opinion like that instead from the jump. You're right, that song was gonna drop anyways but I do think he's still holding back so s*** dies down + he gets more source material. (Personally) I don't want basic bars, i want bars where he got triple entendres and insane word plays b/c he's lacing all these different subject matters together but in a Drake fashion where its still catchy.

Kendrick just got the biggest hit of his career off Drake. If he doesn't drop right after he'll figure out a way to bring it back around on Drake either on his birthday or another special moment for him, possibly when he officially updates his diamond plaques or some s***. I think it's highly unlikely Kendrick moves on 100% when he can still milk it. This will be his most profitable year since 2017 if things continue

I wouldn't say that's 100% accurate, b/c one of the things that makes him great is his relentlessness and desire to continue being great - him waiting a year or something seems unlikely especially with practically many close to him confirming he's returning soon.
Kendrick 100% needs to drop soon b/c I think in six months, his monthly listeners will go back near pre-beef and his streams will drastically slow down.
I hate that Drake gave this clown attention because even though his streams, success will taper off (Kendrick) it will still be much higher than what it was pre-beef and that in a way is a huge W for him. Drake did it for the sport of hip hop, and I love him and revere him for that but truthfully Kendrick gained so much out of this.
Drake will drop soon. I think its smart he's holding off b/c there's a big difference in the quality (introspection, beat selection, subject matter) when he takes more time to really let everything settle in. I want this project of his to be the best project of his career. That's a huge expectation and wish but really, he does have all eyes on him when he drops next. It'd better serve him seeing how all these other niggas are spiraling and how the culture shifts its opinion in real time.

Brother at one point during the beef Kendrick was doing 50-70M streams daily via Spotify
(More than J. Cole & Drake combined at that time).
Granted that lasted less than a week.
People don't look at numbers enough to see it.
Kendrick fans don't realize the World of Popular music and Hip Hop literally stopped and was either introduced to or revisited Kendrick's catalog and that didn't last more than a week. (No Replay)
Kendrick streams are low, it just doesn't seem like it, if you remove one song (NLU) a 5th of his current daily streams disappears.

kendrick dropped to like 25m a day before the music video dropped, he will do something again when it starts dropping to the 20-25m level IMO (happened with the pop out then the mv)
