I'm pretty much convinced Not Like Us is to Kendrick Lamar what All I Want for Christmas Is You is to Mariah Carey. She's been milking that one song for literally 30 years (1994-2024). Is this song going to be played for 30 years? no but it's the same type of identity/personification song for him. Which is actually pathetic considering he's rapping about p3dophilia.

His back up against the wall, you already know the next project is going to be legendary. I agree with someone last night who said his last few albums had that 'mailing it in' feeling (i think it was @thegreatdivine , credit to her). Not saying the albums were duds b/c they were amazing. But when his back is pushed up against the wall like this, its when he finds new pockets, new breathes, new styles, new flows, new angles, new topics, new everything. He evolves. I can't f***ing wait.
