What are we going to replace it with, to me, sounds like the cop out argument of its too hard. It's been 300 years hopefully something better. People between the age of 30-50 should be running the world, to young you lack wisdom and experience, too old your out of touch of the modern problems and have no real stake outside your kids or grandkids which realistically probably hate you.
I agree about democracy and the width of human opinion in a singular society. However we as America decided to dumb down our education so the average American could not make an informed choice. We do not need an electorate we need people to believe in their leaders. Not as super heroes but as people, as humans with a past and a bias and hopefully a want for our (the human family) future.
I sort of agree with your end point, I do think the majority vote could go bad, I recognize the way the country has been built and destroyed over time. Our modern education for the average American affords us little to no political or historic understanding, we could change that though, dare to be different.

Nah it’s getting easier but laying down triggers it more so I feel it. I can bare to lay down for like 2 hours if I wanna chill but it’s still somewhat uncomfortable. It’s just getting easier and easier each day. I mostly don’t feel in early in the day but for some reason it’s at its strongest at night. Stomach issue ain’t helping either
