I mean i def don't wanna get into a political philosophy argument cuz then i go od lol but i don't have a problem with the electoral college. The founding fathers articulated quite well why majority rules can get wild (just look at France tdy). think it's Hamilton or John Jay who wrote the federalist paper I read on majority rules and how the French Revolution was an example against it and like it still holds true today lol. Gerrymandering is really the problem that the founding fathers didn't think of and what needs to be fixed. Some town with 10 ppl in the middle of nowhere can decide the election lol.

That being said i think the 2 party system and primary system is f***ed up. Why can't I believe in abortion rights and a lower corporate and capital gains taxes at the same time?
