Budden really fumbled the interview

The race between all these podcasts to get a Drake interview got me crine

Joe Budden Podcast when Rory and Mal were still on. We've had the serious 2 hour long Elliot interviews a few times now and while theyre amazing, it would be dope to get something more lighthearted now. Something that feels like kicking it, telling stories and f***ing around. I dont think too much has changed in Drakes life to do another Elliot interview. The last one already covered his 10 year long career. Outside of the JBP im not really sure, maybe Gillie pod?

I still ain’t listened to it yet fully (just Twitter clip) but Rory will call drake s*** parody but then champion artists who genuinely make 1 type of music and not say s*** (Griselda etc although I f*** with them).

I remember when he said ‘signs’ sounds like controlla / one dance when it comes out. Always got those dumb lazy critiques and parallels with drake

A few tracks on CLB that sound unique for drake imo too (n2deep, race my mind, tsu, imy2)

I stg if they film it and then the interview still doesn't end up coming out I'm gonna be upset. Drink champs is a great show for drake to be on.

But it has validity..."champagne poetry" sounds like a title on a fake tracklist. I like the album but it does feel like it's so formulaic to Drake's successes that we could've gotten something similar from a Drake clone. I totally agree with Drake sticking to what pops and what works but we never got that tactic from Drake on an album. Each album he put out was personal and had it's own uniqueness..CLB really didn't have those things. Best thing I can say is it's well sequenced and well produced.
