Metro slander is fascinating to me

Dude dropped a great second album, fire movie soundtrack and now he executive producing for Thug all after his mother’s death but god forbid he switches around a tracklist with some Drake songs

Her Loss dropped before Metro's album did. Metro heard Drake's verse on More Ms, takes him off Trance. Metro's album drops, weeks later, Drake's version of the song leaks, people go crazy about it, wondering why Drake's verse was taken off. The next day, Metro posts the OG version of Knife Talk (the one without Drake on it) outta nowhere on his Twitter (I'm guessing because he believes Drake/Drake's team leaked the version of Trance with him on it). That's after liking tweets saying Drake was the worst part of Her Loss and that his album was better. That's after posting a tweet saying he'd never move his release date for anybody right after Her Loss was set to drop and people were saying he delayed his album to duck Drake. Only you would see all that and still act like nothing is going on.

Look man, Metro one of the greatest hip hop producers oat but let’s be real, that album was mid. The movie soundtrack was cool and that thug project was decent-mid.

Metro is incredible with his range and with the beats he can produce off hand for all kinds of artists. He’s responsible for so many classic beats by now. But he’s never really been an album guy like a Rick Rubin or Kanye or even Dr Dre were.

By your insane batshit logic, what started the beef was Metro hearing Drake’s verse on More M’s where he, for some reason, takes personal offense to Drake’s very generic opp bars, meaning that Drake is the one who started this beef. It’s like you don’t even think before you type?

I think some of these Drake stans are just salty at Metro because Heroes & Villains has been way more successful over time than Her Loss has been
