To put it into perspective this album gonna be nostalgic for all the young guys in high school/college when us older fans got NWTS/ifytitl…

Those memories can’t be topped. Ubering around nyc drunk when ifytitl came out bumping “Know yourself”

In comparison these younger guys will have the same just with songs like “First person shooter”

CLB has lower lows but higher highs imo, its close but id give it the edge just off the songs i do like i like more than anything here.

Man y’all really picked the wrong Drake album to sleep on s*** really do go hard

it’s just falling on deaf ears because this isn’t what y’all wanted to hear from him which is basically just a Jay-Z Kanye Esq album or an attempt to recapture the glory days of TC or NWTS. Taken for what it is and graded on its own scale this s*** fire idgaf what nobody say. Really no clear skips tbh, get the urge to skip RBD bc of Sexy Redd voice being so grating on the hook but even that song is pretty infectious

Y’all just miss Hov & y’all miss Ye. Admit it lol. I get it, I miss them brothers too dawg. It’s not Drake job to fill their shoes though. He walking his own path and he’s in his own lane. Sometimes I wish he never compared himself to Jay lol

I get that for sure. CLB rap songs are better than those on this album by a hair to me but I think the highs of songs like Polar Opposites, Bahama Promises, Tried Our Best really standout out to me more than Race My Mind, Get Along Better, etc. it’s a good discussion though because CLB has Pipe Down and N2Deep which are my favorites from that album that I think are just as good as the best songs on this album

Drake finally at that stage where Lil Wayne was when he dropped the Carter 4 with mixed reviews it happens when you been on top for so long and even more so these days cause folks will trash anything

Id take Pipe down and N2deep over anything on here, along with a few other songs.. but then stuff like in the bible f***ing fans and some more are worse than anything on here. also race my mind sucks ill die on that hill.
