MandoI think it’s somewhat true though. Lots of Drake fans who dislike his recent output are fans who grew up with him, they experienced the fun of being young listening to his music but are now older and may be starting families themselves and expect their favorite artist to grow with them. I’m somewhat guilty of it too, I wanted a 4:44 kinda album from him but he’s clearly not there yet and I’m still finding myself loving this album
I’m older and have a family and been with drake since day 1. I listen to him for the same reasons I listened when I started

I think people forget dude lives a totally different lifestyle to everyone of us, the people he hangs out with, the stuff he does on the daily.
People will probably grow out of his music now for the reasons you said and it’s normal. But even people in their 30s probably relate to him just as much now as they did back in their 20s.

Away From Home is a very mature, reflective song and it’s not boring at all.
Y’all live in extremes so much, I’m not saying the opposite of this content is nothing but father talk, but I would like to hear him talk about these topics from a different perspective. Songs like Tried Our Best, Away From Home, and I’m the Problem (even though it was cut) are all examples of what a mature Drake project would sound like, and none of those songs are boring
