Oct 9, 2023·1 replyICEMAN40Lol I love how everyone can defend themselves but drake. And for the record I completely disagree with all of this criticism about growing up. I mean I get where people are coming from but two things:
1. They don’t keep that same energy for anyone else that makes albums about the same s*** and some of these guys are older than drake (future, pusha t, etc)
2. We don’t really know this dudes life. Who knows what’s going down behind the scenes..people say he’s picking fights but we all know drake rarely sends shots without it being warranted.At the end of the day, these artists know their audience and all of them, including drake, pander to that. Kendrick panders to concise rap fans, etc. All I do know is that the music is really good. There’s nothing wrong with knowing your audience and dropping something that will make them proud to be a fan.
If he wants to address these people on social media is ok like they act like he doesn’t have the right too lol making it seem like he’s overacting ? Like he’s doing the most ?
